Introduction
NIFTY® and NIFTY® Pro are world-leading non-invasive prenatal test screening product independently developed by BGI Genomics, well-trusted in more than 16 million pregnancies. By collecting a single maternal peripheral blood draw, extracting cell-free DNA, and using low-depth whole-genome sequencing technology, combined with bioinformatics analysis, the risk of certain fetal chromosomal abnormalities can be determined.
What clinical challenges are targeted by NIFTY® Test
NIFTY® and NIFTY® Pro offer a safe and accurate method for screening T21 (Down Syndrome), T18 (Edwards syndrome) and T13 (Patau Syndrome), and can expand detection for other autosomal aneuploidies (RAAs), sex chromosome aneuploidies (SCAs), and 92 types of pathogenic chromosomal deletions/duplications (CNVs).
